Let me begin this by saying the staff at Alight are wonderful. I know they have no say in this. Getting rid of free guest parking and installing an outrageously overpriced system is beyond frustrating and predatory. Many in the community have shared the same negative sentiments around this topic. Not only that, but as of October 1st we no longer even have the 48 free hours of guest parking that we were promised when the system was initially installed!!!! Speaks volumes about the Parent Company’s True intentions.
It's not a bad apartment complex but some of the recent changes are baffling. I renewed and my rent went up $10, but the renewal offer for this year is a whopping $110 increase. Another thing that didn't need to be an issue but has become one is the guest parking, which in my 14 months here has gone from free to still free but fewer spots, to paid but residents get 48 hours of free time per month, to fully paid. The pool has been closed for 50% of the time I've been here.
Alight is super beautiful, well-organized common areas, a nice place.
